Broughton "McCosh"The largest show of Beltex sheep to ever come under the hammer was held at Borderway Mart, Carlisle for the Beltex Sheep Society premier show and sale. The event attracted considerable interest for this increasing breed of continental sheep.

McCosh was purchased in partnership by John and Heather Barclay of the Beachy flock, Ayrshire and David and Jean Cruikshank of the Drumrash flock, Castle Douglas. Broughton McCosh is a full ET brother to the 5,000gn ram sold earlier. Sired by Airyolland Kingsize and out of the 2004 Royal Highland Show champion ewe.
